A graduate member of the Tomahawk High School Class of 1981, participating in four years of football, four years of hockey, three years of
baseball, and two years of track.
Craig earned 11 letters during 13 athletic seasons (four in hockey, three in football and baseball, and one in track) and was a six time All-Conference selection (three in hockey, two in baseball, and one in football). Additional honors included being co-captain and a Channel 7 All-Star Honorable Mention selection his senior year in football. In baseball, he was named All-District and All-State Honorable Mention his junior year. His hard work in hockey saw him being named All-State Honorable Mention both his junior and senior years. One special part of his high school career was when, as a freshman, he scored five goals against DC Everest in hockey.
After high school, Craig attended college at UW-Stevens Point for two years, where he played hockey and earned two letters. Craig then completed his Associate Degree in 1985 at Nicolet College.
After college, Craig become extremely involved in the Tomahawk community. He has served as assistant varsity hockey coach, and a youth coach in hockey, baseball, and soccer. He presently is a Level 3 hockey official and sits on the Board of Directors for SARA Park.
