Erik Halverson
Erik Halverson A graduate member of the Tomahawk High School Class of 1992 participating in football, wrestling, track and baseball.

Erik's high school athletic honors included four letters in wrestling, three in football and three in baseball. He was a seven time All Conference selection (three times in football, three times in wrestling and one time in baseball). Special honors for Erik in football included being named All Region Athlete his junior and senior years, Channel 7 All Star his junior year and a member of the North All Star Shrine Bowl Team his senior year where he also served as defensive captain. In wrestling, Erik was a state runner up his junior year, state heavyweight champion his senior year, Lumberjack Conference Co-Most Valuable Wrestler along with winning the Gary Kuntz Outstanding Male Athlete Award his senior year.

After high school Erik attended Augustana College in South Dakota for one year and then transferred to UW-LaCrosse for three and a half years. At UW-LaCrosse, Erik was a four year starter compiling a school record of 49 games in football. In college, Erik received several awards in football which included All Conference Honorable Mention as a freshman, Second Team All Conference as a sophomore, First Team All Conference both his junior and senior years, Football Gazette First Team All American as a junior and senior, Hewlett-Packard Division 3 All American Second Team as a junior and First Team as a senior. A further honor was the Associated Press Little All American Third Team selection as a junior and Second Team as a senior. The highlight of his athletic career came when he was selected as the winner of the Football Gazette National Offensive Lineman of the year Award his senior year.

Presently, Erik is employed at Packaging Corporation of America in Tomahawk.
