A graduate member of the Tomahawk High School Class of 2001, participating all four years in volleyball, basketball, and softball.
Lacy excelled at all sports and earned nine athletic letters. She received two in volleyball, four in basketball, and three in softball.
In her junior year, Lacy was a valuable part of a conference and regional championship team in volleyball. She also led her basketball team to a conference championship that same year. It was the first conference basketball championship in girls’ basketball in 22 years for Tomahawk. During Lacy’s sophomore year, she was part of the Tomahawk girls’ conference and regional softball championships. A year later, she helped her softball team to another regional championship. Lacy was voted Newswatch 12 Student Athlete of the Year during her senior year as she led all three sports (volleyball, basketball, and softball) to conference and regional titles.
Lacy was named All Conference Honorable Mention her junior year and First Team All Conference her senior year in volleyball. She was also selected as Lumberjack Conference Player of the Year her senior year. In Basketball, she was Second Team All Conference her junior year, and First Team All Conference her senior year. While participating in softball, she was voted All Conference her sophomore year, All Conference Honorable Mention her junior year, and First Team All Conference as a senior.
Lacy was very active outside of the classroom, but she also took her studies very seriously. She graduated as Tomahawk’s 2001 Valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
After high school, Lacy went to UW-Green Bay for 4-1/2 years where she maintained a 4.0 GPA. She graduated in December 2005 with a major in Human Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
Presently, Lacy is attending the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and anticipates completing a pharmaceutical degree in 2011.
