A graduate member of the Tomahawk High School Class of 2000, participating in volleyball, basketball, and track all four years.
Jessica was a ten-time letter winner. She earned two letters in volleyball, four in basketball, and four in track. All Conference honors included two in volleyball, four in basketball, and ten in track. Athletic accomplishments also included being a part of two state track appearances. Jessica was a member of the 400 Meter Relay Team that placed tenth at state her senior year.
Post-season awards for Jessica included the Darcie Riese Memorial Award, All American Scholar Athlete Award, State of Wisconsin Academic Excellence Scholar, Jim Taylor Sophomore Scholar Athlete Award, America’s Champion Athlete Award, Lumberjack Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete Award, Women’s Sport Advocate of Wisconsin Athlete and Academic Achievement Award, Bill Fischer Outstanding Female Athletic Award, and National Student-Athletic Day Award. In addition, Jessica was a member of the National Honor Society and was class salutatorian.
After high school, Jessica attended UW-Superior, where she was a 2004 Summa Cum Laude graduate with a degree in accounting. At UW-Superior, Jessica received the Department of Business & Economics Academic Scholar Award.
Since graduating from UW-Superior, Jessica has been employed at Wipfli LLP in Wausau as a senior tax accountant
