DeAnn (Janeczko) Lange
DeAnn (Janeczko) Lange A graduate member of the Tomahawk High School Class of 1997, participating all four years in basketball and track, cross country for three seasons and volleyball for one season.

DeAnn's efforts resulted in ten letters (three in basketball, four in track and three in cross country). She also earned fifteen All-Conference honors (two in basketball, eleven in track, and two in cross country).

DeAnn was a member of the 3200m state Relay Team in track during her sophomore and senior years where they placed sixth at state when she was a sophomore and ninth at state when she was a senior. DeAnn held nine high school records in track. Her leadership abilities also resulted in her being selected as captain of the basketball, track and cross country teams. Perhaps it can be best said that there is not enough space to list all of DeAnn’s awards earned in her career at Tomahawk High School.

Upon graduation, DeAnn attended UW-Eau Claire where foot surgery her freshmen year meant a switch on focus to academics. She worked in two internships, one for the Eau Claire Area School District and the other for Silicon Graphics of Chippewa Falls. She was part of the Golden Key National Honor Society and made the Dean’s list six semesters. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in December 2001 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, double majoring in Accounting and Corporate Finance. She passed her CPA exam in November 2001 and became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in May 2003.

She worked for Wausau Benefits as a reporting accountant and financial analyst from December 2001-April 2005. She presently works at Church Mutual Insurance Company, in Merrill, as a staff accountant. DeAnn also coaches with the Tomahawk High School track program.
